There is nothing revolutionary about recognizing we’re on the verge of blending humans and computers. There’s nothing profound about pondering that outcome, but it’s been weighing heavy on my mind and on my heart. We are there. It is painful to watch all the good things turn digital. Digital careers and digital friends, forced to accommodate the technology that so soon will surpass us. I use it to it’s fullest. Some of my best days and best friends have derived from me using the internet. But now it feels like we’re in a net, growing weary.
This backdrop was constructed by me. It was made with intentions of contrasting the purest human form against the innards of computers and other machines. I’m afraid to see them combined. This project means a lot to me and my ever changing relationship with technology.
